Cosmetic Acupuncture Research

Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation benefits are well documented considering it is an ancient Chinese beauty secret surviving for thousands of years. However it has been the topic of modern research also.

        A 1996 research report published in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture
        reported that among 300 cases treated with Facial Acupuncture and Cosmetic Acupuncture,
        90% had marked effects with one course of treatment.

        A comprehensive research study in 2008 by The Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University,
        was undertaken to probe the mechanism of Acupuncture in anti-skin aging, the study concluded
        Acupuncture Surrounding Needling can change aging state of skin possibly by strengthening the
        activity of fibroblast in skin and increasing the content of soluble collagen.
