Acupuncture Treatment and ACC
At Auckland Wellness Centre we have a $35 ACC surcharge for Acupuncture treatment,
the balance of your treatment is covered by ACC.
If you have had an accident or you get injured in New Zealand your treatment cost is likely
to be subsidised. An accident is a sudden event, so you must be able to name the time
and place of your injury.
3 Simple Steps to get ACC cover
Step 1
Report your accident to your Doctor and fill out the ACC45 claim form
(also available from Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Physiotherapists).
Step 2
Make an appointment with an Acupuncturist quoting your ACC claim number.
Step 3
Once your claim has been accepted by ACC a course of Acupuncture treatments will be subsidised.
What do you have to pay?
As ACC only pays a portion of the full cost of your Acupuncture treatment, a Surcharge of $35 needs to be paid at the time of each treatment.
Please note that a non-attendance charge equivalent to our full private fee will be made where an appointment is missed without 24 hours prior notice.
